Launch of Ki67 Cell Line Controls
HistoCyte is pleased to announce the launch of our Ki67 Cell Line Controls, developed to support reliable and reproducible quality control in IHC.
Ki67 remains one of the most widely utilised proliferation markers in diagnostic pathology and plays an important role across a broad range of tumour assessments. As laboratories continue to focus on assay consistency, standardisation, and reproducibility, the importance of robust quality control materials has become increasingly significant in supporting confidence in staining performance and biomarker interpretation.
Traditional tissue controls can present challenges due to variability in biomarker expression, limited material availability, and inconsistencies associated with archival tissue. HistoCyte’s cell line technology has been developed to provide a scalable and reproducible alternative, producing tissue like formalin fixed, paraffin embedded (FFPE) controls suitable for routine laboratory use.
Designed for same slide quality control, our Ki67 controls are intended to integrate into existing laboratory workflows while supporting efficient and dependable assay monitoring. The controls are available as both precut slides and Cell Microarray (CMA) blocks, providing flexibility for laboratories with different workflow and throughput requirements.
Our CMA format also offers a cost effective quality assurance solution, with laboratories able to generate over 300 sections from a single block while maintaining consistent and reliable control material across extended use.
The launch of Ki67 further expands HistoCyte’s growing portfolio of IHC and ISH quality control materials and reflects our continued commitment to supporting pathology laboratories with innovative, high quality solutions designed for modern diagnostic practice.
